You can’t afford a templated law firm website

Today, the competition on the Internet is enormous-with thousands of new law firm websites and blogs popping up each year. Your website has to stand out and these templated websites that some of these mega web designers are pumping out are doing your more harm than good.

“Before You Talk to the Adjuster” Blog Launched

In  a continuing effort to provide Virginia residents with useful information after an accident but before an attorney is hired I’ve launched “Before You Talk to the Adjuster.” This site is on a very cool WordPress Theme and is worth your study. Attorney Web Marketing-The Majority is Always Wrong

Of course we cover the Internet. Extensively. From websites to Facebook to video to everything…. But not in the way that most who sell you websites teach it. My buddy, Tom Foster, has developed an absolutely amazing tool that allows any lawyer with half a brain to become an Internet publishing empire. If you didn’t [...]

There’s a group in California that’s been cold calling a bunch of Foster Web Marketing clients to “warn” them about impending doom with their sites and Google. Then, they launch into a sales pitch. They [...]

Florida Supreme Court: Wrong on Lawyer Websites (Again)

The Florida Bar news had an interesting article this past week about a hearing recently held about lawyer websites by the Supreme Court of Florida. The central part of the debate centered around the question of whether every page of a website should be pre-submitted to some “committee” for its blessing. I think the Florida [...]

“We Can Get Your Law Firm on the First Page of Google”

Lawyers get this sort of solicitation almost every day via email. I suppose that some bit for the offers as I see posts on listserves asking: “do you think its a good deal to pay $299 for a year to get on the first page of Google?” Its ridiculous. SEO (search engine optimization) takes work. [...]
