How Do You Establish Yourself As an Authority Before a Client Even Meets You January 27, 2009

When I meet with a new personal injury client in my Virginia office it is very rare that they are still interviewing attorneys. They have, by and large, already made a buying decision. Its usually up to me to decide whether I want this particular client/case at this time. Depending on how many other cases I have accepted that week, my threshold for a new case may be higher or lower. The point is that I’m not chasing cases.

Here’s a couple of tips for establishing yourself as the respected legal authority in your area before a new client even meets you in person.
